NICF-Python for Data Science(SF) (Synchronous and Asynchronous E-Learning)

The Python Programming for Data Science module helps learners compile and implement the techniques of coding in python to manipulate dense data arrays, use labelled /columnar data, have capabilities for a flexible range of data visualizations, and efficient & clean implementations of the most important and established machine learning algorithms.

NICF-Data Modelling & Visualization (SF) (Synchronous and Asynchronous E-Learning)

Start off your journey by understanding the basic datasets and applying visuals on the data to analyse them by using Power BI. Obtain the competency to create data models and get meangingful insights from the data visualizations during the data analysis.

NICF-Statistics for Data Science (SF) (Synchronous and Asynchronous E-Learning)

Learn descriptive and inferential statistics, basic probability, random variables, sampling and confidence intervals and hypothesis testing using python for data analysis.

NICF-Data Science Principles (SF) (Synchronous and Asynchronous E-Learning)

Get Introduced to the key concepts and techniques used to conduct the data science activities such as statistical analysis, predictive analysis, data cleansing and transformation, data visualization with Python, and Modelling using Microsoft Azure Machine Learning.

NICF-Machine Learning Algorithms and Methods (SF) (Synchronous and Asynchronous E-Learning)

Get hands-on experience with the Machine Learning concepts using Python and Azure Machine learning from setting up a proper data study to making valid inferences from data experiments. Build and derive insights by leveraging Azure cloud services to perform machine learning models.

NICF-Machine Learning Applications (SF) (Synchronous and Asynchronous E-Learning)

Build experience and deriving insights on Machine Learning and computational modelling techniques. Learn skills and hands-on experience on the technology and the research prospect of data science space around Python, by getting solid inferences from data experiments by using optimized models for best results.

NICF-Machine Learning Application Capstone Project (SF) (Synchronous and Asynchronous E-Learning)

Learn various data engineering patterns and data ware housing ingestion techniques that can be used to load data using the Apache Spark capability found in Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Databricks, or how to ingest using Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse pipelines.

This training programme will also prepare the learners for the following industry certifications:

Christopher specifically provides training in Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming using modelling and IDE tools such as Sparx Systems EA, Rational, Visual Studio, Flash Builder and more.

Lakshmi Nagarajan , Digital Instructor -

Lakshmi is a seasoned analytics intrapreneur with a master’s degree in Statistics. Her expertise in building distributed systems using state-of-the-art big data technologies is second to none and is adept at driving analytics strategy, establishing data governance processes, communicating analytics to a non-technical audience and has designed several patented algorithms.

Kishan Gollapalli , Digital Instructor - Data Science

Kishan is an institution in himself with rich domain and technical expertise in SAP ERP,  Business Intelligence,  Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, and Data Science. He is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft Certified Azure Data Scientist.
He has over 20 years of industry experience across the Asia Pacific and was formally Senior Consultant and Trainer in SAP and worked with some of the biggest MNCs in the digital sector including Accenture, Wipro, and Cap Gemini.  
He currently leads the learning management and product development for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in Lithan Academy.

Is this training programme recognized in Singapore?

Yes, our training programmes are mapped onto the Skills Framework (SFw). This is a national framework that companies are using to develop human resource capabilities that include the development of job profiles, recruitment and interview checklists among many others.

Is my job guaranteed upon the completion of the training?

Our job placement assistance backed by more than 10 years of track record has helped an average of over 500 locals to transit to high-growth digital jobs each year, but we do not guarantee any job placement. We provide assistance that improves your chances of securing your desired digital job.

Who are the hiring companies that Lithan is partnering with?

We have worked with thousands of hiring companies over the past decade and at any point in time should have more than 100 active hiring companies which consist of both SMEs & MNCs across multiple sectors.

Is age a major factor when it comes to securing a job through your job placement assistance?

Some of our employers preferred younger candidates and we also have employers who preferred mature ones. These employers recognised that mature candidates would cherish employment opportunities more than the younger ones and be more responsible and reliable at work.

Can I get an exemption if I possess some related skills or certifications?

Exemption will be on a case-by-case basis but largely for learners who already have the same certifications residing within our programmes.

What are the upcoming intake dates for the programme?

Our intakes vary throughout the year. Please register your interest with us to get the details for the latest upcoming intakes.

What are the timings and frequency of the training sessions?

The timing of the part-time training sessions is 7pm to 10pm, around 2 to 3 sessions per week. Please take note that there are self-learning components outside the training sessions which need an additional commitment of hours per week.

What is the minimum requirement needed on my PC or laptop?

Hardware: Intel i5 or equivalent, 8 GB RAM, 500GB HDD. Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7. Application: Microsoft Office 2010, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. Newer version of the above specifications is highly recommended.
